What happened: Midland Christian finished 3–1 at the Van Griffith Kia Tournament in Granbury between Thursday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 6. The Mustangs picked up wins over Arlington Lamar (4-9 overall), Granbury (2-10 overall), and Everman (7-4 overall). Midland Christian fell to Abilene Wylie (4-5 overall). The team closed the weekend with an overall record of 11-3.
