What happened: Greenwood High School varsity volleyball opened its first tournament of the season in Monahans with a commanding 2-0 win over Bowie High School of El Paso. The Rangerettes controlled the match from start to finish, taking the first set 25-13 and closing the sweep 25-10.

With the victory, Greenwood improves to 2-1 and begins the tournament on a strong note.
