What happened: Greenwood High School varsity volleyball closed out the Monahans tournament in style, winning the consolation bracket with a 2-0 sweep of the host Loboes. The Rangerettes took the opening set 25-18 and held off a late push in the second to secure a 25-23 finish.

Greenwood leaves its first tournament with a 6-2 record and now turns its attention to facing Lubbock’s new Frenship Memorial High School.
